The job
Document a multi-day install of an ICCF (insulated composite concrete form) foundation. It’s an alternative to poured concrete and block foundations, made with recycled foam insulation. The house is a panelized straw bale home by BPC Green Builders in Connecticut.
What we made
On-camera interviews with Ben Bogie of BPC Green Builders, the whole process from first footing to final pour, and still photography for the feature. Fine Homebuilding published it in February 2026. The film above runs about four and a half minutes.
How we made it
Andres worked solo across the whole build, as part of Fine Homebuilding’s editorial team.
